Wendy Doscher-Smith MADShears Featured MADShears Hair Artist. We See the Creativity in Everyone That Cuts Like MAD!

Miami, FL-based Wendy Doscher-Smith is never bored and like her MAD Shears, certainly cannot ever be called dull.
After working as an investigative journalist and columnist for 15 years, Wendy heard the call of the wild and never looked back. A stint as an adoptions counselor at the Humane Society of Greater Miami only fueled the furry fire burning inside her belly. Soon, Doscher-Smith became obsessed with dog paws, and it wasn't long until she was offered a chance to display her collection of fine art Pawtography at an televised art exhibit on South Beach, only to be followed by several other gallery shows.
Today, Doscher-Smith works as a dog groomer, pet photographer, freelance journalist and photojournalist, animal advocate and jewelry maker.
Her latest photo essay, "Last of the Moo-hicans" featuring cows based in Miami Lakes, is due out in Coral Living Magazine this summer.
She lives with her husband Jeremy, and their pack, including cocker spaniel, Anise, aka "Tribe Elder," her rescue "bagel" (beagle/basett mix) Franki-Jo and rescue long-legged terripoo Halo, aka "Air Halo."
The latest addition to the clan is her ferret, Pickle Penelope Carnivora, soon to work as a "Theraferret."
Doscher-Smith is also always on the look-out for bottle caps as she makes pet memorial jewelry (in honor of her beloved Belgian Shepherd mix Nyla) and collages out of them peepers!
